The reasons why I cannot get ready into my work immediately:
- Psychologically: I always feel the work is boring and complicated. Also the lack of confidence that I can produce a paper with good quality keeps holding me back.
- Environmentally: The connection to the internet tempts me all the time. I always wonder there may be important mails arriving in my inbox, or something interesting is going on in the news which worths my attention.
- Beating around the bush: Sometimes I turn to other activities such as planning, reading useful blogs...which make me think I am working on something and absorbing new knowledge, therefore not wasting time at all. But the reality is I keep staying put.
